Emergency service for suspected infections with haemorrhagic fever viruses

If infections with haemorrhagic fever viruses are suspected, which may require extensive isolation measures, we offer an emergency diagnostic service. In this case, the findings are usually transmitted within six hours after the arrival of the sample.

Patient samples with suspected pathogens of this kind are marked with * in the examination order.  Please note that samples with suspected viral haemorrhagic fever must be announced by telephone!
