Overview

Health threats in populations require global and international preparedness and effective responses. The BNITM Department of Infectious Disease Epidemiology contributes to this through teaching and capacity strengthening initiatives, primarily together with countries in the Global South. We use digital, virtual, and face-to-face teaching and learning methods, for example, to strengthen laboratory and diagnostic capacities, teach epidemiology and infection control, promote international scientific exchange, and inform public health policy.
