Corona Diagnostics

The Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine offers the current diagnostics for the detection of infections with the SARS coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2).
This diagnostic includes virus detection by throat swab (PCR) as well as antibody detection.

SARS-CoV-2 vaccination

The Bernhard-Nocht-Ambulanz performs SARS-CoV-2 vaccinations by appointment. Appointments are made via the Municipal Vaccination Service of the City of Hamburg: Digital Appointment Management.

Service National Reference Center at BNITM

The BNITM hosts the National Reference Center for Tropical Infectious Agents (NRZ), appointed by the Robert Koch Institute on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Health.
