Obituary notice of Prof. Dr Thomas Großbölting
We mourn the loss of the Director of the Research Centre for Contemporary History in Hamburg, Prof. Dr Thomas Großbölting, who died unexpectedly and tragically on 11 February.
Thomas Großbölting has made an outstanding contribution to the historical review of the Bernhard Nocht Institute and its namesake. His well-founded, balanced, and informative report on Bernhard Nocht serves as a guide for us in assessing our history.
We will always remember his positive, inclusive, and warm presence.
Our deepest sympathy goes out to his family.
