The established mobile laboratories network is active and in many countries the teams have already set up the labs for providing rapid diagnostics and surveillance near the ports of entry at the borders.
These labs are currently set up:
DRC: 1 lab in Beni, North Kivu
Burundi: 1 lab in Kobero POE, Muyinga Commune, Buhumuza Province
Uganda: 2 labs in Bwera hospital, Kasese District
Rwanda: 2 labs in Gisenyi and Kihundwe Health Districts
Tanzania: 2 labs in Bukoba and Kigoma
Kenya: 1 lab in Busia
South Sudan: 1 lab in Nimule
