BNITM Graduate School

The Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine (BNITM) offers a structured PhD program. As a non-university research institute, the BNITM is not authorized to award PhD degrees. Therefore, the institute cooperates with universities - especially with the MIN Graduate Centre (MINGZ) of the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Natural Sciences at the University of Hamburg. In total, the BNITM Graduate School comprises 40 to 50 PhD students, who usually complete their dissertations within three years.
